Managing Clients and Devices
Managing Clients and Devices
The Clients section of your partner dashboard is your central hub for managing all customer accounts and their associated devices. This guide covers everything from adding new clients to monitoring device health.
Adding a New Client
- Go to Clients in the sidebar and click Add Client.
- Fill in the required fields: company name, primary contact name, and email address.
- Optionally assign a subscription plan and set device limits.
- Click Create Client to save. The client will appear in your client list immediately.
Editing Client Details
Click on any client in the list to view their profile. From the client detail page you can:
- Update company name, contact information, and notes.
- Change the assigned subscription plan.
- View a summary of all devices, protection status, and recent scan activity.
Deploying Agents to Client Devices
Each client has a unique agent registration token. To deploy ANTIV on a client device:
- Navigate to the client's detail page and click Deploy Agent.
- Choose the platform (Windows Desktop or Linux Server) to download the appropriate installer.
- Run the installer on the target device. The agent will automatically register using the client's token.
- The device will appear in the client's device list within 60 seconds.
Device Health Monitoring
Each device reports its health status in real time. Devices are color-coded for quick assessment:
- Green — Fully protected. Definitions up to date, recent scan clean, all patches applied.
- Yellow — Attention needed. Definitions may be outdated, a scan is overdue, or non-critical patches are pending.
- Red — Critical issues. Active threats detected, device offline for extended period, or critical security patches missing.
Removing Devices
To remove a device from a client account:
- Navigate to the client's device list.
- Click the device you wish to remove, then click Remove Device.
- Confirm the removal. The device will be unlinked from the client account. Note that the ANTIV agent should also be uninstalled from the device to stop it from re-registering.
