1. Introduction

Reboot Computer Services Inc. ("ANTIV", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have over it when you use the ANTIV security platform and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash). For paid plans, billing information is handled directly by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not store full payment card numbers.

Device & Agent Data

The ANTIV desktop and server agents transmit the following to the portal: device hostname, operating system version, scan results (file paths and threat classifications), agent heartbeat timestamps, quarantined file metadata, and security event logs. This data is required to provide the core security monitoring service.

Usage Data

We collect standard web server logs including IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and improving the platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the ANTIV security platform
• To send security alerts, scan reports, and service notifications
• To process subscription payments and manage your account
• To investigate and respond to security incidents or abuse
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Retention

Scan result data is retained for 90 days by default. Quarantine records and security event logs are retained for 12 months. Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription and deleted within 30 days of account closure upon request.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Stripe (payment processing), Amazon SES or configured SMTP (transactional email). For self-hosted deployments, you control which external services are connected.

6. Your Rights

7. Security

All data is transmitted over TLS. Sensitive credentials (agent keys, SMTP passwords) are encrypted at rest. We apply industry-standard security practices and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-portal notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
